Modulex kommt zurück!

The original Modulex Bricks, developed by Godtfred Kirk Christiansen in the early 1960's, is relaunched by Modulex Bricks A/S

Our mission is to relaunch the Modulex Brick

In the early 1960s, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen began laying down plans to expand the production facilities in Billund. To make an exact scale model of the architectural plans, the Modulex Brick was developed and put into production.

Through the years the Modulex Brick has been used for scale modelling, production planning, time scheduling and signage. Sadly, the brick went out of production several years ago.

Now the adventure of the Modulex Brick is revived!

Könnte für die MOCcer interessant werden, je nachdem, wie die Steine verfügbar gemacht werden.

was war nochmal der unterschied zwischen normalen systemsteinen und modulex? war das das wo ein 1x1x1er stein so hoch ist wie breit?

hier mal ein Modulex-Stein (mit LEGO-Logo auf den Noppen) im Größenvergleich mit einer Minifig. Schönes Spielzeig für diese
Die drei Noppen des Modulex-Steins entsprechen ungefähr zwei Noppenbreite normaler Steine.

We are pleased to tell that LEGO Juris A/S has acquired Modulex bricks in a mutual agreement. It has been important for the LEGO Group owner family to ensure historic rights stay within the owner family. The potential to produce Modulex bricks has also been addressed and there are no plans to manufacture Modulex bricks in the near future.
